with the California Rescue Dog Association and the Contra Costa County
Search and Rescue. Twist is one of three labradors she owns and has trained.

that she has found Eloise Anderson hiding under a wood palette in a mock
disaster training for search and rescue dogs at a recycling center in
Hayward, CA. The dog owners took turn hiding in order to give each others'
dogs practice at solving problems.
Tecca looks wearily on as Tezi
receives a veterinary examination from Dr. Kidd in Moraga Tuesday Aug.
20, 1996. Tezi received a clean bill of health, having recovered from
a shoulder injury, but Tecca was diagnosed with Cancer.
After a long search into a wilderness
wash in Moraga, Eloise Anderson takes a drink of Gatorade as she listens
to the debriefing from Rick Kovar of Contra Costa County Search and Rescue
Saturday Sept. 20, 1996. 31 volunteers were used in the search to find
a missing 39-year-old Moraga man. The command post was in a vacant field
south of the St. Mary's College soccer field.
